We’ve got to be thinking holistically about how to attract the right talent, engage with candidates in the way they find most meaningful, and then intentionally focus on how they grow their careers.
As part of our HR Strategy Series, I’m talking with top experts in the field to teach prospects what hiring managers are actually looking for, while also supporting business leaders in their hiring and retention strategies. Today I had the pleasure of talking with Jay Shankar.
Jay Shankar leads Talent Acquisition for Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world’s largest cloud computing company. In this role, Jay serves as global talent leader across all of AWS, with specific focus on organizational growth and candidate experience.
Prior to joining AWS, Jay led the Customer Experience team for the Digital Marketing organization at Adobe Software, where she supported business enterprise customers. She also spent over a decade with BMC Software where she served in a range of leadership roles in Technical Support and Engineering.
Thank you so much for doing this with us! First, please tell us what brought you to this…
