… Currently, I am looking at fun ways to change daily word choices so it allows speaking from a place of abundance rather than scarcity. For example, instead of saying the word “audition”, I would change it to “showcase” instead. It evokes the feeling of worthiness and it sounds more empowering and self-validating, taking the power back to the artists. There are a lot of dated words and labels that are quite punishing and don’t help with self-worth. These are tiny mindset shifts and over time it takes away unnecessary anxiety and fosters a kinder environment. Friends of mine have adopted this and we have fun building a new vocab together!
