One: Nice guys finish first. They do.
Second: I’ve found that Hollywood wants you to succeed. They need you to. Someone has to carry the torch so they’re encouraging you to win.
Third: There’s no best actor. You find your skill set, and you know what you do well, and you do that well, and then that’s encouraged. There’s room for everyone. So find your great utility.
Fourth: Over time, your enemies become your allies. So you think they are your competitors, but over time you end up serving each other, and you’re better off working together.
Fifth: The simple words I always return to: Just Breathe. Wherever you are in life, especially being in Hollywood, breathe. If nothing else, trust those two words. It’s that simple.
