…A Community That Gets It. You can’t do this alone. Surrounding yourself with like-minded actors and creatives who are also committed, strategic, passionate, and compassionate is crucial. You need people who understand your journey, will challenge you when you’re playing small, and remind you of who the hell you are when doubt sets in. When times are slow, it’s easy to align yourself with those complaining about it all. That’s not going to support you in the long run and will only keep you in the same place. Now look, there’s a time and a place for venting a bit; we all get to do that. But you can’t stay there. You need a community that holds you high, not drags you down…
